Paper Flowers FAQ
On this page are answers to the most common questions about my handmade paper flowers, commissions, and process. If you have a question that isn’t covered here, feel free to get in touch.
-
Paper flowers are handmade botanical sculptures crafted from high-quality paper, wire, and paint. Unlike fresh flowers, they are everlasting and can be custom-designed to perfectly suit your space or event. I specialise in realistic, sculptural flowers with rich texture and movement.
-
Crepe paper is a textured, stretchy Italian paper that allows for beautiful movement and lifelike petal shapes. I use high-quality crepe paper alongside other specialty papers because it creates realistic, durable, and elegant flowers that hold their shape for many years.
-
My paper flowers are designed to last indefinitely when displayed indoors away from direct sunlight and moisture. Many clients have had their pieces for 5+ years with minimal maintenance.

Paper flowers offer several benefits over fresh flowers: they never wilt, require no water or maintenance, are hypoallergenic, and are a sustainable long-term investment. They are especially popular for luxury interiors, weddings, and corporate events where longevity and consistency matter.

Paper flowers look stunning in vases, as wall installations, or displayed under glass cloches. I recommend grouping them in odd numbers and mixing different heights and textures. They pair beautifully with ceramics, books, and natural materials.
-
It usually begins with a consultation (in person or online) where we discuss your vision, colour palette, and space. I then provide sketches if required and a quote. Once approved, I create the flowers and arrange delivery or installation.
