One of my favourites to make. Icelandic poppies have this wild, loose quality — petals that look like they've just opened, slightly crumpled, catching light differently depending on the angle. This version is made from 60g Italian crepe paper and comes in pink, yellow, orange, or red.
Each stem is around 50cm tall with a flower head of 10–12cm. No two come out exactly the same, which is kind of the point.
They look great on their own but three together in different colours is something else entirely.
