Buttercups are one of those flowers that people don't think about until they see one made properly in paper — and then they can't stop looking at it. Small, simple, but the cup shape is surprisingly tricky to get right. Each petal is hand-cut and shaped individually from double-layered Italian crepe paper with a soft green centre.
Around 30cm tall — shorter than most of my stems, which is the point. They're wildflowers, not grand gestures. Three in a small cluster of thin bud vases looks completely beautiful.
